LUTHER, Okla. — An Oklahoma fire department is hitting the dance floor in hopes of earning a new fire truck.

The Luther Volunteer Fire Department entered an online contest after their fire truck recently broke down.

Video of the firefighters dancing in what appears to be their apparatus bay has been posted online.

The department is one of seven finalists competing in a nationwide contest to win a $170,000 fire truck from manufacturer E-One.

Visitors to the E-One website can read and vote for departments based on stories about them.

The department with the highest total of votes by August 27 will receive the apparatus.
